Title: "TQ's Amazing School Adventures: Shapes, Stories, Space Bots, and Snowy Festivals!"

Hey there, my fellow adventurers and book buddies! It's your friend TQ, ready to take you on an epic journey through my school week full of mind-bending math, captivating tales, festive French fun, and out-of-this-world science projects! Oh, this was last week. hahaha

Math Magic: Twirling Shapes and the Symmetry Circus!

Step right up, Math Magicians!  Last week dived into the dazzling world of geometry. Imagine a circus of shapes - Squares, Triangles, Parallelograms, Rhombuses, Kites, Trapezoids, and Rectangles - each performing their own rotational symmetry act!

Did you know that shapes can be acrobats? They can spin and twirl, and some fit perfectly into themselves as they rotate all the way around! That's called the Order of Rotational Symmetry. Take a square, for instance; it can flip around 4 times before making a full circle – that's an order of 4!

Puzzle time! How many perfect spins do you think a Pentagon, Triangle, and Kite can do before they're back to the start? Share your guesses, and let's see who the top shape spinner is!

Language Arts: The Quest of 'No Fixed Address'

Grab your explorer hats, friends, because we're diving into the story of 12-and-three-quarter-year-old Felix in "No Fixed Address." Felix's adventure is a bit rocky – he and his mom, Astrid, are searching for a place to call home, but it's a bumpy ride.

Just when you think things can't twist any more, Felix lands a spot on a game show that could flip everything Ride Side-Up! Will this be his golden ticket to a happy ending? No spoilers here, but let's just say Felix's story is as gripping as a rollercoaster ride!

Sound excited? Make it your next read.

French Fun: A Chilly Carnival Capade!

Bonjour, mes amis! Last week in French, we were back with Bonhomme Carnaval and an adventure story about Matthieu Dubois' frosty journey to the lively carnival. From Cornwall to Montreal, our friend Matthieu braves the cold, savors some scrumptious poutine, sips on cOca-cola, and dances with the dazzling Bonhomme Carnaval!

After our reading, we turned into detectives, sorting out the Vrai (true) from the Faux (false) and crafting answers in full sentences. C'est magnifique!

Buckle up, Space Cadets, for our most out-of-this-world project yet – building a replica Mars rover! These roving robots brave the rocky Martian landscape, swirling dust storms, and freezing temperatures to uncover the secrets of the Red Planet for us Earthlings.

Only six brave rovers – Opportunity, Spirit, Sojourner, Perseverance, Curiosity, and Zhurong – have touched down on Mars. While visiting Mars might be in the future, I'm happy to keep my feet on Earth and let the rovers do the space walking!

There you have it, I went to Mars and back! #Shapes, #Stories, #Space #Bots, and #Snowy #Festivals
